Internship

There are opportunities to do an internship at FES Ghana. If you are interested, please send us an email with attached CV and cover letter in which you should highlight your motivation to do an internship with us. Kindly send this email to office of FES Ghana (email: office@fesghana.org).

Who can apply?
All applicants should have preferably at least a Bachelor Degree. Due to the fact that we are a social democratic political foundation, the applicant should feel committed to social democratic values.
Additionally, the applicant should speak very good English. German is an asset.

Which duration for an internship is optimal?
An internship in our office takes normally at least three months.

What are the responsibilities of interns?
A concrete topical area will be assigned to every intern in order to ensure that the intern can work on his/her own project. It is possible and highly welcomed that interns are attending seminars and conferences, write reports and minutes, do internet research as well as conduct all sorts of work which are connected to our daily office work.

Is there a reimbursement for the intern's work?
Unfortunately, an internship at FES Ghana can not be reimbursed. Furthermore, FES can not compensate or bear the costs for travel, accommodation or catering. All interns from abroad are requested to arrange for an international health care insurance (please send the document to FES Ghana after internship was approved).

We are looking forward to your application!
We ask for your understanding that due to the high amount of applications, it is not possible for us to send you an email to confirm that we have received your application. If you are not receiving any response, we could not shortlist you for an internship.

Kindly note that all available Internship vacancies are CLOSSED until January 2018
